Hi! My name is Stephanie and I am a Licensed Associate Counselor (LAC) in New Jersey. I received my Master of Arts in Counseling from the College of New Jersey. I am also a Certified School Counselor and a Certified Student Assistance Coordinator, and I have experience counseling in schools working with children, adolescents, teens, young adults and families. My educational background and professional experiences has given me the knowledge and skills it takes to build a strong therapeutic relationship while helping clients work through any issues they may be struggling with.

I believe that we are all human, and we all experience many emotions and challenges that can sometimes feel too overwhelming. We may not be able to control certain things in life, but we can control how we respond and react to those situations. Every single person is unique, so I believe in meeting clients where they are currently at. By using an individualized approach in counseling, I can properly assist each client and learn what works best for them.

A crucial part of a successful and strong therapeutic relationship is ensuring the client feels accepted, safe, comfortable and supported. I strive to always make every person feel cared for, heard and validated! I really value building rapport with my clients so they can truly benefit and get the most out of therapy.

Counseling is a collaborative process, so together, we will work through your problems, worries and stressors so you can learn, grow and create a healthy mindset and headspace. Counseling helps individuals discover a path where they can work towards being the best version of themselves. Through openness, collaboration and clear communication, I assist clients in exploring and identifying personal goals they would like to achieve. I help my clients find their voice, their strengths, and their abilities that they already acquire within themselves to help them see more clearly and reach their full potential.
